Fwd: Fw: Refer a friend to PineCone Research

Hey, Everyone!
Here is an email I received this week from a survey group I joined over a year ago.  Each survey you complete will give you a $3 credit in your account.  You can opt to receive a $3 check after each survey or do as I do and let the balance grow until it gets to $30, $45, or more and then request a payout.  You will not get rich doing the surveys.   I receive an average of 4 to 6 per month or $12 to $18 per month.  So, I do it to offset my newspaper subscription that comes to about $14.40 per month.  So, all of my newspapers (4 per week) are free.

It takes about 15 minutes to complete each survey.  Some are really not interesting at all.  But most really are very interesting.  It is fun to learn about new products being developed.

Finally, not everyone who applies will be accepted.  On the other hand, if you have better things to do than sit down and answer questions about a product that you don't use because it has yet to hit the market, go clip some more coupons instead.

Have fun!
ShaRon :o)

Rookie Mistakes...

I love to coupon and my passion for it does not seem to be waning.  I tear, circle, clip, and cut coupons in my sleep.  I think of ways to find more printable coupons every single time I sit down at my computer.  Having said all of this, I still find that I am continuing to make rookie couponing mistakes.

For example, I had a recent shopping trip where I bought over $80 worth of groceries for just 11¢.  Actually, the store owed me money but would not ring me out because they don't allow overage.  So, I had to get a jar of mayonnaise for which I had no coupon.  But, I got that 30 ounce jar of Hellman's mayonnaise for 11¢!

Anyway, in my haste to share my awesome feat with my husband, I left the store without getting any rainchecks for some of the great sales they had that week.  In fact, I have been doing that for several shopping trips.  My excuses range from "I forgot" to "I really had to get to choir rehearsal."

Nothing makes my stomach sink faster than picking up the following week's circular only to see items for twice the price it was the week before.  Of course, I really need it and did not get a raincheck when it was on sale.

I promise myself now that I will never again leave the store without a raincheck.  No more rookie mistakes At least, not that one.

$5 ALL YOU Subscription

Hey, Y'all!
It looks like we all survived the snow storms and St. V's Day!
Pretty sparse coupon inserts this Sunday, only one insert.  On a brighter note, here's the link for a $5 one year subscription to ALL YOU magazine. I subscribe to five!  I use at least $2 to $4 from each one each month.  All of the coupons double at my local stores here in Maryland (except for Walmart and the pharmacies).  Here's the subscription link $5 ALL YOU Subscription. I don't know how long this special rate will last, so don't wait too long.

So far, it looks like only one insert next week, too.  Bummer!

Take care, stay warm, and happy couponing!

Couponing in the Snow...

Hey, Y'all!

I visited the ShopRite website to get more information about the last days of their double $1 coupon event that has been ongoing for four months.  The last day was supposed to be today.

BUT, WAIT! The ShopRite double $1 coupon event has been extended to March 1st!!!! I am so happy even though I can only do 20 coupons per day.  No problem.  I live close enough to make a couple of trips everyday.

My supplies are running low and the sales are great.  I have not been back to do a big trip since I got embarrassed at the supermarket over a month ago.

But I will go later today to see what deals I can get on some much needed supplies at ShopRite and CVS.

Four great coupon inserts and you can use both P&G coupon inserts for the next 6 days!

Happy Couponing!

1.26.14 - Coupon Previews...

It's a snow day!!!
Time to match up the coupon and sales to make great deals.
I hope to do just that tomorrow and then run to the stores between snow events this weekend.

Four great inserts this weekend.
It feels like my birthday again.

Remember, you can continue to use the coupons from the January P&G until the end of this month.  You can also use the coupons from the insert coming this weekend, too.

Get your Sunday paper on Saturday and shop the CVS sales early (late Saturday night).

Happy Coupon New Year!

Happy Couponing New Year to You All!

We have an entire new year to look forward to a ton of coupon inserts.  Here's the link to the inserts expected in 2014 - Sunday Coupon Insert Schedule

Last week we got FIVE inserts.  Happy birthday to me!!  Monday, I turned 67 years old and I am still accepting gift cards, honoraria, paper money, checks, and money cards.

I am finding in my coupon classes and shopping that old people rarely coupon.  I don't know why but have decided to ask some other old folks I know why they don't.  I will share my findings the next time I send out my email blast.

Anyway, I am old folk and I coupon proudly.  I like the hunt, the clip, the victories I have when I coupon.  Couponing keeps my brain supple and nicely wrinkled.  Couponing helps my hands keep moving and helps my memory.  Couponing helps relax me and keep my mind off things that worry the average person.  When I coupon, I can think of nothing else once I enter the "zone of coupon shopping".  I love couponing!

Here are the coupon inserts & coupons expected in this weekend's newspaper.  Remember, your actual coupons may differ slightly from those listed below.  Coupon denominations and actual product coupons differ from region, city, and sometimes within the same market area in different newspapers.

The source of this week's coupon preview came from CouponPreview.info Use a coupon database to find other coupons and then go to the grocery and pharmacy inserts to match the coupons to sales.  Remember, the "advertised sales" in the pharmacy or grocery store ads are only a small fraction of the items you will find on sale in the store.  Most retailers will only give you a raincheck for "advertised sale" items.

Finally, most grocery store retailers have a website with its own electronic or digital coupons that you can load directly to your store loyalty card.  However, these e-coupons can usually be used only once or once per transaction and you may need to return to the website to "reload" that coupon once you use it.  However, if you have a cell phone, you can probably load it from your phone while in the store.

If you every need help finding a product coupon, drop me a line or give me a call 301.210.5091. I just want you to save more money so you can invite me and my sweetie to dinner!
