Happy First Day of Summer!

It surely looks more like a day in October rather than a day in June here in Maryland.  But no matter, it is always a great day for couponing!  In honor of the first day of summer, you will find two great coupons in the Parade magazine in your Sunday paper (on the last page).

Couponing Tip:  If you get a rain check for an item at the super market and it never appears on the shelf, go to customer service and order that item.  You will not have to waste your gas by making repeated visits to the grocery store only to find the item still not in stock.  Most supermarket rain checks are good at least 30 days.  Some stores and pharmacy rain checks last up to 60 days.  A few like Harris Teeter and CVS never expire.
