Parade Coupons 9/23/12
What a great day for couponing!!!

Only one coupon insert this week but there are some great coupons inside.  In addition, if you use cosmetics, check the Parade magazine for more coupons.

Get ready for next week's onslaught of coupon inserts.  You can expect up to four inserts if you buy the Washington Post or other big city paper.  So, get those scissors ready to clip coupons!

If you are like me, I find myself under a pile of coupons that need to be purged from or stuffed in my binder.  Take a breath and don't cut any coupons for 30 days.  Write the date on the front of your inserts and use a coupon database to help you locate coupons for upcoming sales.

For once, I am going to follow some of my own advice.  I am not clipping any coupons for 4 weeks!!!  I will file each week's inserts according to their date and use one of my favorite coupon databases to find them when I need to go on a couponing shopping spree.  I do this every 3 or 4 months when I feel myself drowning under a deluge of coupons clipped and unsorted.

I will be sure to let you know how this works for me.  I am a creature of habit and organization.  This is a new way of organizing for me but many couponers never clip a single coupon until they are ready to go shopping.

Here are a few great coupon databases that I use:  (*register first)

There are only a few coupons but they are for products we all use.  Remember, you can print each one twice per computer.  Just click the back arrow AFTER the coupon prints to resend the print command.

Just a gentle reminder...Don't forget to set up your junk email and junk Facebook accounts.  There are high dollar coupons on manufacturers' Facebook page and you can only access them with a FBk account.  The downside is that they want access to all of your email addresses and your FBk friends, too.  The junk accounts should have no friends or email addresses of your friends.

Use your junk email account for your junk Facebook account, too.  Can't think of a "junk name" to use?  I would bet your great-great grandparent would love to have email and Facebook accounts.  Mine sure does.  By the way, she would have been 120 years old this year.  Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Happy Couponing!
