Fwd: I Been Slackin'...

This is an email from one of my BizzyCouponBees, Valda.
My total for the trip that day was $154.22 for the two transactions and $37.76 out of pocket.
Thanks, Valda for the encouragement.

Good Morning Ms. "redbeelips",

Could you please pass on the following to all up and coming coupon clippers.

I just want to personally say, that I saw Ms. Redbeelips in action at the ShopRite Grocery store last week. It was by accident that we both were in the store at the same time. She has it down to a science. If I had not seen it with my own two eyes, I would not have believed it.

Ms. Redbeelips had a grocery bill of over $120, but only, I say only paid out of pocket for no more than $30 of the entire bill, if that. Is that a savings or what?

I, too, dropped a few coupons for products I had in my basket. It will not happen again. It is a process and takes time to master. Oh, I saved about $20 myself. :)

Just sharing.

Hey, Y'all!   (Click the links that are underlined & highlighted in yellow)

I have to admit that I have been "slackin'" in my bizzy bee couponing outreach.
I completely forgot to send you the coupon preview for this week and did not share my couponing victories either...I'm so sorry :-(((

I did have a lot of great coupon shopping trips and somewhere I spent little or  nothing at the supermarket and CVS.  As always, I try not to shop at more than one store per day.  It is just too difficult for me to keep track of what I am doing.  This strategy helps me avoid silly rookie mistakes.  Despite this, there are times I still make silly rookie mistakes.  For example, last week I dropped a handful of coupons somewhere in the store.  The coupons fell through my shopping cart onto the floor without me knowing it.  How can this be avoided?

First, always paper clip your coupons together and keep them in an envelope or coupon wallet.  The coupon wallet is better because it allows you to view the coupons without taking them out.  By the way, they are on sale at Staples for $2 this week.  Another way to avoid loosing your coupons would be to have a second envelope for coupons that you have already pulled products to match.  So, once you locate an item, put that coupon(s) in the envelope.  I am buying another expandable coupon wallet or two tomorrow at Staples.

Before I forget, here's the Coupon Preview for 10.20.13.  It looks like there will only be one insert--SmartSource.  But there are always new printable coupons being added to:  Coupons.com, Couponnetwork.com, RedPlum.com, EverydaySaver.com, SmartSource.com and manufacturers' websites.  Also, check out the tab on TheBizzyCouponBee.blogspot.com for more printables.  Remember, that some of the best coupons come directly from the manufacturers.  So, pull out some of your favorite products; find their online information and shoot off some emails them.  It is so much fun getting mail from them.  I always feel like a little kid on her birthday ripping open my coupon mail.  Each envelope brings a great surprise.  Try it!

Lots of great deals this week and next for ShopRite.  It will be the last day of their double coupon deal.  It ends Saturday, October 26th.  I have been couponing for 3 years and have don't remember this coupon event ever before at ShopRite.  Let's hope  it will not be the last one.

Next week's circulars for CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens, ShopRite, and most other stores are available on their websites.  Compare next week's sales to this week's and you can decide whether or not to buy today or wait until next week.  The Week of 10.27.13 there will be three inserts Red Plum Preview 10.27.13  Smart Source 10.27.13  and  Proctor & Gamble 10.27.13

Finally, go to HotCouponWorld.com and sort through their $1 coupon database to make some great deals at ShopRite or your favorite grocery store in your neighborhood.

I'm lookin' for some Coupon Buddies!!!
If you are up for the challenge let me know.

I will show you how to prepare for your shopping trips; find and organize your coupons; contact companies for high value coupons; register your shopping cards so you can qualify for more and better deals; and shadow you to get you started on your journey to strategic couponing.  The only catch is this:  you must have your own laptop and copy paper.  You should also plan to subscribe to and/or purchase one newspaper for each family member.   It may take a couple of hours for the first preparation.  After that, you should be able to do shopping preparation on your own.  If not, we can repeat as necessary.  What will it cost you?  A donation of $5 or 5 cans of veggies to be donated to the Queen's Chapel United Methodist Women's Ministry.  We may have to meet at my home because of other events at the church.  I live about 3/4 of a mile from the church.

I have not set a date or time.
I will wait to see if anyone is interested.

I am going shopping again in the morning and will probably take my daughter with me.
It is more fun to shop with a coupon buddy.
Maybe that extra pair of eyes can alert me to falling coupons.

Happy Couponing!
