OOPS!

Hey, Y'all
I posted my video last evening and discovered that the first part has no sound!!!  So, I am redoing it but will be taking it off line for a few minutes to repost it.  Hopefully, that will solve the problem...if not, I will just have to share the particulars through 5 shorter videos vs the one long one (17 min).  In fact, I may just post the shorter ones anyway and you can choose to watch my Academy Award performances in one long movie or the shorter ones.

Here's the corrected video link:

There are actually three coupon inserts this week.  I got my paper this morning.  I get the Washington Post so I cannot vouch for how many appeared in other local papers.

CVS shopping next week for me will not happen.  I saw nothing that I really wanted or needed.  I have one more run to make today for more toilet paper and then I will be done for a while.

Take care,
Happy Couponing!

My CVS Bonanza!

Hey, Everyone!

I made a killing at CVS this week!  I made a couple of videos and have posted them on youtube.  I am still very new at posting and editing my videos.  For me, editing means checking to be sure I am not naked when the camera starts.

So, I have pieced the videos together and that is all I did.  So, please excuse the messy merging from one video to the next.

Love to you all,

No Target Insert

Hey, Y'all

I am so sorry that I told you about the Target coupon insert that was supposed to be in this weekend's newspaper.  Now, it was not in the Washington Post (my paper) but no doubt it was probably in some others.  Coupons and inserts are always regional and may even vary within neighboring communities.

If you really looked forward to Target's insert, here's the alternative.  In fact, here's a better alternative.   There are $292 in Target coupons on their website. Go to their coupon website and print till your heart is satisfied!  There are tons of great printable coupons on Target's website that can be stacked (used with) a manufacturer's coupon for that same item from the newspaper or magazine.  Stack them (use them) both with a sale and you can score some great deals: http://coupons.target.com/

Next, eBay will no longer allow vendors to sell coupons on their website.  They were threatened with legal action and lawsuits if they continued to do so.  Nothing like the threat of a lawsuit and legal troubles to persuade you to change your policies.

Monday is a great day to scan your CVS card at the Magic Red Coupon Machine.  CVS coupons are reloaded on Mondays and the best ones run out first.

August is almost here and that means a new Walgreens coupon booklet.  The coupons can be stacked with manufacturers' coupons and sales for great savings.

Oh, eggs are on sale at Walgreens this week for $1/dz.  Eggs and milk can often be bought at the pharmacies for much less than the grocery stores.  Those are their "loss leaders".
They are counting on you to spend more than just a couple of dollars on eggs and milk to make that loss leader a money maker for them.  So, just buzzz on over to Walgreens; get your milk and eggs; and get out...quick!

Eggs can be used far their expiration date.  In fact, eggs can be used without loosing quality for 3 to 5 weeks after you bring them home.  Always check the expiration date to assure you are purchasing the freshest eggs.  The expiration date should be at least 3 to 4 weeks after the purchase date.  The fresher the eggs, the longer you can store them.  To read more about keeping all foods safe and how long you can keep them, go to StillTasty.com
