I really must be slippin' cause I missed the television announcement, did not read my email from ShopRite, or look at the "Sneak Preview" for ShopRite I told you all about. But, thanks to Charles and Hampton I now know that ShopRite's double coupon event was extended to the end of November. Heck, I hope it is so successful that they make it permanent!
I looked at the Barilla products today at Harris Teeter and they are on sale for $1.69 ea (pasta and pasta sauce). The pasta was on sale last week for 88¢ and the double $1 on 2 items coupon made them all free. That same coupon would have made the Barilla items 69¢ each this week. But they are also part of a buy 2 get 3 free sale making for some great pasta meals. There are several products listed for the buy 2 get 3 free deal and several BOGO, too.
Do yourself a favor and check out your local supermarkets and pharmacies online before you make your list of great deals.
Oh, I am still looking for a few more coupon buddies here in the Laurel, Beltsville, Columbia, and nearby communities. If you want to have some one on one coupon shopping help from planning to an actual shopping trip, just reply to this email or send me another one. The cost: 5 cans of veggies or $5 donation to the Queen's Chapel UM Women's food pantry. Of course, you are welcome to give me a call if you want more information. The first coupon buddies shopping trip will be in November before Thanksgiving. I just don't know the exact date yet. There will be one for the pharmacy and one to a supermarket. Both locations will be in the Laurel/Beltsville area because I shop there and know the lay of the stores and they recognize me, too.
